About Us
Anapauo International Ministries is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the people of Sardinia, Italy — caring for the elderly, creating opportunities for youth, and building community through faith.
Our History
In 2023, Greg and Romina arrived in Sardegna, Italy as missionaries with the support of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale to lead the Villa Pintadera project.
In 2024, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale acquired the former Hotel Ichnusa in Sanluri, Sardegna, and the Villa Pintadera project began.
Scheduled to open in 2027, the Villa Pintadera project will provide compassionate, comprehensive care to 25–30 residents while creating job opportunities for at-risk youth.
In addition to serving the residents, the project will also offer physical, spiritual, and psychological support to the families of residents, staff, vendors, contractors and the community in general.
Our Name
Our name comes from the Greek word anapauō (ἀναπαύω), meaning “to give rest” or “to refresh.” It is the word Jesus uses when He promises, “I will give you rest.” That promise is at the heart of everything we do: bringing rest, care, and the peace of Jesus to those who are weary.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
